Welcome to SyWee & Friend’s Academy (SFA) family home childcare. Children are tender, curious, wonderful beings who should have a safe and enriching environment to grow and thrive. We strive to offer quality, nurturing, and a productive learning environment. Your child will have the opportunity to learn through play with their peers in a variety of ways. The various activities, both caregiver led and child initiated, which provides a foundation for your child to grow into an independent preschooler. We have active play time every day, both indoor and outdoor. Structured physical activities are engaging pre-planned activities led by SFA staff as well as unstructured activities known as free play for children to be creative and use their imagination.

SFA Ways to Get Kids Moving
SFA engage with the children to act out a story as we read. Children use props to help them move while identifying shapes, colors and numbers. SFA throws a dance party or make up an obstacle course many things ti keep the children on the move. SFA also use transition times to get children moving (marching, skipping, hopping etc.). SFA encourages as much outdoor play as indoor play as much as possible (even when it’s raining or snowing - with appropriate clothing and shoes) through play the children learn about the seasons and nature on our "I Spy" Nature Walks, Treasure Hunts, Games of Tag, and Alphabet Hopscotch just to name a few of SFA's outdoor activities.
